In recent years, awareness of environmental issues has grown significantly. At Jail Jam, we have always believed in the deep connection between humans and nature: outdoor is not a trend, it’s a way of life!

This love for open spaces drives us to constantly improve. Today, we are proud of the positive changes we’ve implemented, both as a company and as individuals.

A large part of our collection is made with recycled yarns, such as R-PET and REPREVE, obtained from recycled plastic bottles through sorting, washing, grinding and fusing. Many products are STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified, ensuring compliance with safety standards and the absence of harmful substances.

Our packaging has also evolved:

Polybags are made from 100% recycled plastic and contain three items instead of one, reducing plastic consumption by 66%.

Hang tags and gift boxes are made from 100% recycled paper, saving 65% of the energy required for new paper production, reducing water pollution by 35% and air pollution by 74%.

Together with Italian companies and citizens, we have already surpassed the European target of an 85% recycling rate for paper and cardboard packaging 15 years early. By the end of 2020, 87.3% of paper waste from industrial, commercial and domestic activities had been recycled (source: Unirima 2021).

Our headquarters is powered by a modern solar panel system, allowing us to fully meet our energy needs and feed clean energy back into the public grid, making us a CO2-free company.
